Her: Bring me down that pedestal I made for myself. It's pretty obvious that it isn't strong enough to hold me up in the first place.. All the foundations I used to make it, all the stuff I stacked on each other to bring me that close to that peak, it's weak. I'm waiting for you to pull me down. It was bound to come anyway.

I've always thought the guy should put the gal on the pedestal, and then join her in the heavens.
I also liked your "I want to the girlfriend who..." post below. I chuckled at the smoking reference. I hate cigarettes, and only tried them for one summer back in my 20s. I recently moved to a senior mobile home park, and have gotten to know some of the guys and gals who are my neighbors. (There are over 450 homes in the park) I'm single, so I'm always looking for a new girlfriend. However, most of the gals smoke, which is a definite turnoff for me right away.
I liked reading your list of boyfriends.
